Role Summary

This role requires a highly efficient, organised and pro-active individual to deal with a wide range of responsibilities. You must be enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible, proactive and confident with the ability to multi-task.

You will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. The areas in which you will be working will include, but are not limited to: Finance, Credit Control, Marketing, Personal Assistant to MD and general office management and maintenance.

As the first voice on the phone and face at our door, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be speaking to customers every day. You will be confident in directing calls and dealing with enquiries whilst carrying out your other day-to-day tasks, and always be friendly and helpful to all callers and visitors.


  • PA to Managing Director – diary maintenance, replying to emails, organising meetings etc.
  • Maintenance of CRM data for sales and marketing activity
  • Assist in marketing activities including blog and press release writing, events, social media, etc.
  • Answering and direction of phone calls
  • First point of contact on reception for visitors
  • Responding to general enquiries
  • Finance support– Credit control, processing sales and purchase invoices, VAT Returns using Xero Accounting
  • Maintaining office stationery and consumables with stock monitoring and ordering
  • Maintain office and kitchen areas
  • Provide hospitality for meetings and visitors

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use social media platforms, such as Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Qualifications and Experience:


  • GCSE C or above – or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Work experience in a previous customer facing role
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Competent in Finance packages
  • 5+ years in a similar office-based role


  • Knowledge of Xero finance system

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience

Role Summary

Evolve are a growing award winning business looking for an exceptional test analyst who can work within an existing team and balance speed of delivery with a quality customer journey. As a test analyst you will operate within an agile team within the Scrum framework, working to deliver high-quality solutions in an iterative manner with continuous integration and use both manual exploratory and automated testing. You will be required to analyse requirements to determine what tests are required in order to achieve the objectives within each testing stage

As a test engineer you need to work with colleagues throughout the business to ensure that all software produced meets the required quality and business requirements.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a motivated team of individuals who ensure that all project deliverables are in line with the Software Development Lifecycle as well as company guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Involvement in the creation and review of user stories in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) environment
  • Creation of automated UI regression tests using SpecFlow, Nunit and Selenium (and possibly Appium)
  • Hands on exploratory testing of all functional modules
  • Working in a cross functional team, and attending SCRUMs
  • Work with the product owner and internal delivery teams to ensure that features are developed to meet the end user needs and help the team troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Creation and maintenance of suitable test data
  • Ability to understand software specification/requirements and to interpret acceptance criteria and derive tests accordingly
  • Raising and tracking bugs in JIRA

Knowledge and Skills

Qualifications and Education:

  • ISTQB Foundation
  • 3+ Years testing experience


  • Knowledge and experience of using test automation technologies (e.g. Selenium) using C#
  • Experience of testing in an agile environment (particularly Scrum)
  • Experience of testing web applications
  • Experience of testing native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Experience of diagnosing, reporting and tracking quality issues
  • Sound understanding of modern agile software testing techniques and QA processes
  • Dedication to quality and meticulous approach

  • Ability to organise, co-ordinate and prioritise day to day work load


  • Experience of using Appium
  • Experience of working with off-shore teams

  • Creating SQL queries to interrogate the database
