We’re excited to announce that our CEO (former CTO) Colette Wyatt has become a finalist for the FDM everywoman In Technology Awards in “CTO/CIO of the Year” category.
Now in their 11th year, the awards celebrate the tech industry’s most exceptional talent, from the UK and beyond, creating role models to inspire the next generation of tech stars.
From women developing technology to support the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out and the NHS’s fight against the virus, to those running businesses that assist developing economies, to the young rising stars that place diversity and inclusion at the forefront of their organisations, the 88 finalists, including our CEO Colette Wyatt, are all united by one common goal – to create a legacy founded on people, planet and purpose, a legacy that leaves the world in a better place than they found it.
CTO/CIO of the Year is awarded to a female Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer or equivalent board level executive who promotes meaningful and tangible technological change in an organisation and demonstrates outstanding leadership and/or innovation.
“Technology has played a crucial role in fighting against this crisis and it will also play a profound role in the recovery. I’m so proud to congratulate the finalists in everything they’ve achieved so far and wish them all good luck! It’s no exaggeration to say that their skills, enthusiasm and energy are needed now more than ever,” says Sheila Flavell CBE, COO of FDM Group.
The awards ceremony will be live streamed on the everywoman website between 6 pm and 8 pm on Thursday 4 March 2021, so make sure you book this time in your calendar to watch and celebrate with us! Alternatively, you can follow the event in Twitter using this hashtag: #ewTechAwards
We’re looking forward to the announcement of winners and wishing best of luck to all fellow finalists across all categories.
